What substances we use for cleaning
The main substances used in cleaning and maintenance are: detergents, disinfectants, petroleum products, soaps, floor care substances, cleaning agents, odorizes and deodorants, insecticides.
Detergents are intensively active substances with cleansing and disinfecting action. It dissolves in water to a certain extent, thus obtaining a solution in which various items are washed or the surfaces to be cleaned.
Detergents are classified by their ionic-electric charge in water. Thus we distinguish four large groups:
Anionic detergents that are used in detergents for laundries and dishwashing. They have excellent cleaning properties and are very sparkling.
Nonionic detergents do not create much foam and are especially useful for automated machines. Because they do not oxidize, they are resistant to water and cleanse most of the stains.
Ampholytic detergents are used in personal hygiene.
Disinfectants are used to destroy bacteria and other pathogenic microorganisms found in the external environment, on the skin and on certain surfaces.
3. Petroleum products
They are used for floor cleaning, removal of various traces of paint, oil, and cleaning of various stains on the upholstery.
They are water-soluble salts of fatty acids. Soaps are made of fats and oils or their fatty acids, treated with chemicals of high basicity.
The use of soaps lately has been reduced by replacing them with detergents so that more soaps are used.
5. Air refreshers
Air refreshers are in the form of tablets, spray or in liquid form. Assortments commonly used are grouped by destination. We recommend you to choose air refreshers based mainly on natural substances, especially if you have kids or pets.
Insecticides are used to kill insects. These products must have good chemical stability against atmospheric agents, low volumetry and toxicity for the purpose for which they are intended. It is very important to carefully observe the instructions for use so as not to affect your health and those around you.
